Obituary—Mrs. H. G. Beye
Caroline Beisner was born in Hanover, Germany on July 14, 1865 and departed this life May 31, 1928 at Farnam, Nebraska, aged 62 years 10 months and 16 days.
When a child of eight years she came to America with her parents, who settled on a farm near Newton, Iowa.
In 1878 the family came to Nebraska, and settled near Carleton where she grew to womanhood.
In 1885 she was united in marriage to Henry G. Beye who departed this life on the 6th of February. To this union three children were born, one of whom died in early childhood.
In 1899 the family moved from their home near Hebron to a farm south of Farnam. They lived there until the fall of 1919 when they moved into Farnam where they have since made their home.
She is survived by two sons, Herman and Arthur, three grand children two brothers and one sister.
The deceased was an ardent and devout follower of God, having been a member of the Lutheran church since early girlhood. Her christian character and faith had endeared her to all who knew her. She was in every respect a good and willing neighbor, a helper in times of need.
Funeral services were held from the Methodist church Friday afternoon, June 1st. Rev. Geo. M. Seick, offciating. Interment was made in the Farnam cemetery.
The profusion of beautiful bouquets were silent tokens of the esteem in which she was held.
