Obituary
Mrs. Violet Edith Bellamy was born July 4, 1912 near Brady, Nebraska.
She was married to William M. Bellamy April 16, 1940, and took up residence at Englewood, Colorado making her home there until her passing, about 11:00 pm on September 26, 1940.
She was a graduate of the Ingham High School in the class of 1930.
Surviving her are her husband, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Floyd G. Beerman, two brothers, Ellis and Junior, a sister Lela and a host of other relatives and friends.
Violet was a fine estimable young woman and had a winsome spirit. She will be greatly missed by her husband and family.
Funeral services were conducted at the Farnam Methodist church on Sunday afternoon by Rev. Mitchell, assisted by Rev. Henderson of the Nazarene church. Burial was in the local cemetery under direction Janssen and Hugo, Gothenburg funeral directors.
Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were her aunt, Mrs. Leona Jensen of Holyoke, Colorado, and a cousin, Mrs. Marion Croucher and family of Loomis.
Music for the service was furnished by a quartette composed of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Pollard and Mr. and Mrs. Dan McNickle with Mrs. S. Mitchell at the piano.
Pallbearers, members of the American Legion were O. Ludvik, Ray Blackwood, John Rowland, Dwight Stebbins, John Ragan, and Cliff Nickerson.
