Fred Delos Beck, 66, of Farnam died Wednesday, April 13, 1988, at Gothenburg. He was born May 22, 1921 at Crook, Colo., to Fred Delos and Minnie (Murkel) Beck.

He moved to Farnam as a young boy and has resided there since. He was a member of the Farnam Church of the Nazarene. He also was past noble grand of the I.O.O.F. Lodge No. 235 at Farnam, where he was a member for 20 years, and was a past member of the Farnam Lions Club.

Survivors include one brother, Les and his wife Mary of Farnam, and one sister, Gladys (Mrs. Lloyd) Beery of Laramie, Wyo.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Francis and Emily, and one brother, Lyal (Dave).

Services were held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Farnam Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Art Phillips officiating. Burial was in the Farnam cemetery with Oddfellow rites graveside.
