Jacob Albert

Jacob Albert was born in Virginia, September 15th, 1830, died at his home in Farnam, Nebr., March 10, 1918: age 87 years, five months and 23 days. He moved with his parents to Ohio at the age of three years, from there he moved to Monticello, Illinois. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Elizabeth Sellick, September 25, 1865, afterward moving from Illinois to Missouri in the year 1880; and in 1887 moved to Nebraska, where they have resided up to the present time.

To this union were born four children, three daughters and one son, Mrs. Emma Goddard of Farnam, Nebraska; Ella Missouri, who died at the age of four years; Mrs. Katie E. Ainlay, of Farnam, Nebraska; Frank Albert, who died at the age of eleven years. He leaves to mourn his loss, a wife, two daughters, one step son, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Albert became a member of the Episcopal church in Farnam, December 13, 1916.

The funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church Monday afternoon by Rev. T. E. Gillet. Interment was made in the Farnam cemetery.
