To Haul Rock From Lime Creek

Tri-county workman are preparing to start work hauling rock from Lime creek, about fourteen miles south of here, to the canal from Elwood to Brady. The rock is being used to prevent caving, and must be smooth, the rock is examined and is smoothed by hand where necessary. The rocks are of a bluish-gray color and are fine for this purpose.

It has been reported that about fourteen months will be necessary to do this work.
