Shot Thumb Off

Leon Buss accidentally shot his left thumb off about noon today, (Thursday) while out hunting. He stumbled and fell, and in some manner the shotgun which he was carrying was discharged, shattering the end of the thumb seriously enough to make amputation necessary. He was removed to the Buss home where the operation was performed.
