Highway Opened to Traffic Now

A STOP sign now stands at the intersection on main street, at the Standard station corner, as the new highway, recently graded west thru town is now open to traffic. The local people are not used to having to stop here and few of them seem to notice the stop sign. Last Saturday evening Marshall Hudson stood on this corner and blew a whistle at each one that failed to stop, and he did a lot of tootin’.
