Caught in a Shredder

Harry Stewart, who is farming on the Burton Brown place southwest of Farnam met with a severe accident Saturday afternoon. Mr. Stewart was feeding a shredder when in some manner he had his left arm caught in the machine. He was hastily brought to town for treatment, and an examination disclosed the fact that amputation was necessary. The injured member was taken off about six inches below the elbow. Mr. Stewart is receiving the best of care and is doing as well as can be expected.
