High Water Stops Golfers

The water has been so high in Plum Creek the past few days that the golf fans have been unable to play any so far this week. There has been very few nights when the weather was good that there ... playing golf. The links have nearly all been remowed and this has greatly added to the pleasure in playing as before the weeds were so large that the balls were hard to find.

Several of the greens have been enlarged and worked down until they are in splendid shape. As soon as the weather permits let’s get the rest of them fixed up in a like manner.
