Polio Carnival a Success

The March of Dimes carnival for raising cash for the infantile paralysis fund was held at the school house last Thursday night and was a very successful affair in spite of the stormy weather and bad roads which made it impossible for those living much of a distance from town to attend.

Total profits, after all expenses were paid, amounted to $359.35 at the time the report was handed to us, but there are other contributions promised. Broken down between the three counties this gives Dawson county credit for $250.89, Frontier county $72.66 and Lincoln county $37.80. This is figured on a percentage according to the number of tickets sold to residents of each of the counties.
