Memorial Services - Roll of Honor

Memorial Services will be held at the Baptist church Sunday morning in honor of the soldiers who have given their lives for their country from Farnam. This service was delayed by the flu, however, now that the epidemic is over, it is fitting that we honor the memory of these men.

The service will be as follows:

Song sung by the congregation and choir.
Unveiling of the honor roll, while Mr. Geo. Ainlay plays “Keep the Home Fires Burning.”
Reading of the names of those who served from the community.
Song by Miss Owen.
Recitation by Mrs. Chas. Pollard.
Offering.
Scripture.
Address by pastor.
Song by Miss Leila Thrasher.
Patriotic number by the Ainlay Orchestra.
Benediction.

It was the intention of the pastor to send out a special invitaton to all returned soldiers, but he was called out of town to be gone several days, so he hopes that they who read this may take it as a personal invitation to be at the service Sunday and honor your fellows.

Everyone is invited to this service. Especially relatives and friends of soldiers, both living and departed.

In the evening, the pastor will preach on the topic, “God’s First Service Star.”
