German Relics Received by Farnam Legion
The Farnam American Legion received a box of German relics from the World war, which was a gift from the U. S. Government. Included in the box were: 10 German rifles, 3 German bayonets, 3 belt buckles, and 115 ornaments. The rifles and bayonets show evidences of use and were quite rusty and weather worn.
The American Legion men in Farnam do not know how these relics were obtained by the government, but were probably collected from the battle fields. In order to get the shipment those wishing some relics sent the cost of shipment which was approximately 60¢.
