Killed Instantly While Sawing Wood

Taylor William Tunnis, age 52 years, 9 months and 15 days, was instantly killed last Saturday while he and two other men, Mead Tillotson and Rolland Jackson, were sawing wood on his farm near Ingham.

The accident occurred about noon while the men were cutting some timber, with a home made saw, when the balance wheel broke and the pieces striking Mr. Tunis, in the head and on the arm, killing him instantly. The part of the fly wheel striking his arm completely cut it in two, just below the elbow, and the other piece badly fractured his skull.

Mr. Tunis lived in Farnam at one time and run an implement store for about __ years and was well known in this vicinity, later moving on a farm near Ingham. He had made many friends while here and also at Ingham, and will be missed by all who knew him.
