Necessary and needed were the ORGANIZATIONS of Farnam
VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS
The VFW was organized in Eustis in March of 1978. In March of 1980 a membership drive in the Farnam area added more names to the list of members. Due to lack of interest in the Eustis area the organization meets in Farnam at the Fire Hall on the fourth Tuesday of each month. There are about thirty six members. At the present time Kent Davis is the Commander; Eldon Thompson, the Quartermaster; Jack Martin, the Senior Vice Commander; and Frank Zysset is the Junior Vice Commander.
The VFW is an organization that works for better conditions for the veterans and defends their rights.
