Necessary and needed were the ORGANIZATIONS of Farnam
FARNAM JAYCEES
On August 14, 1980, an organizational meeting for young men ages 18-36 was sponsored by the Cozad Jaycees. Twenty five men are charter members of this group. President, Doug Adkisson; First Vice-President, Kent Aden; Second Vice-President, Dan Widick; Third Vice-President, Roger Miller; Secretary-Treasurer, Wes Poggendorf. Charter members are: Scott Adkisson, Ron Adkisson, John Coble, Dan Kotschwar, Rick Kotschwar, Weldon Hoppe, Richard Oberg, Wade Craig, Randy Edson, Richard Edson, Byron Brown, Larry Taylor, Doye Miller, Mark Vickers, Roger Koch, Jeff Oberg, Dennis Kotschwar, Mike Claflin, Brad Holden, Deloit Cross.
The National Jaycees program has three areas to adapt and work on goals for individual development, community development and management development.
The Farnam Jaycees set community development for their 1980-1981 goal.
FARNAM JAYCEETTES
An organizational meeting for young women ages 18-36 was held on February 21, 1981. President, Sue Aden; Vice President, Connie Taylor; Secretary, Karen Oberg; Treasurer, Brenda Poggendorf; Publicity, Angie Miller; Hospitality, Marcia Adkisson; and Member, Carol Cross.
