Necessary and needed were the ORGANIZATIONS of Farnam
CAMPFIRE GIRLS
The Campfire Girls was an active organization in 1914. Not very much information is available as to how long it continued. Then again in the late thirties and early forties Farnam had Campfire Girls.
GIRL SCOUTS
The Girl Scouts had an organization in Farnam between the years 1948 to 1953. They participated in good citizenship activities within the group and the community. Some of the girls attended week long camps that were held in surrounding communities where they learned about camping.
