C. A. Rosenfelt Dies
After Long Illness

Charles A. Rosenfelt, a resident of Orafino precinct, died last Friday night after a several weeks’ sickness. Funeral services were held Sunday at Orafino, and interment was made in the Cambridge cemetery. Rev. Jones of the Orafino Evangelical church conducted the services.

Charley Rosenfelt came to Frontier county in 1890 and has made his home here ever since. He was a substantial, enterprising and progressing citizen and had many friends who regret his death. His genial smile and hearty good natured chuckle made him popular with all who knew him.

The Faber joins the many friends in extending sympathy to the bereaved family.

The following obituary was read at the funeral:

“Chrles Augustus Rosenfelt was born in New York state June 10th, 1858, and died at his home, two miles south of Orafino, Nebr., Dec. 9, 1921, age 63 years, 5 months and 29 days. He with his parents came to Nebraska in 1870 locating at Firth, Nebr., later he took up his residence in Frontier county in 1890. In 1892 he was united in marriage to Miss Naomi Hazen of Farnam, Nebr., to this union were born four children, Henry, Boyd, Clyde and Elma. Henry having preceded him to the better world about three years ago. He leaves to mourn his departure a wife, three children, three sisters, nine brothers and a host of friends.”
