OBITUARY

Lucy Crouse was born in Morgan, Illinois.

She came with her parents to Seward, Nebr., in 1881, where she spent most of her days to time of death.

She passed away at the home of her niece, Mrs. Chris Gaibler, Nov. 3, 1930. Miss Crouse dedicated her life to her Master during her girlhood and lived a Christian life throughout the years. She was a member of the Methodist church. She leaves to mourn her going, two sisters and one brother, besides other relatives and friends. One sister, Mrs. Eva Plumper, resides at Seward, the brother and other sister reside in the state of Washington.

Out of town relatives who attended the funeral were Mrs. Eva Plumper and son.

Funeral services were conducted at the Gaibler home Tuesday, Nov. 4 by Rev. C.R. Tanner of the Methodist church. Singers were, Miss Emma Banks, Mrs. Edith Pollard, Mrs. W.G. Parker and Mrs. Helen Fitch with Mrs. Dan McNickle playing the piano.

We wish to thank all who were so kind and considerate toward us during the illness and at the time of the death of our sister and aunt. We appreciated the floral gifts and beautiful songs and take this way of expressing our thanks for all the kindness shown.

The body of Miss Lucy Cruse, sister of Mrs. Anton (Eva) Plumper and William Bick, who died at Farnam Monday night, was brought to Seward Tuesday and funeral services held at the Methodist church Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Cruse was seventy-seven.
