Theron B. Haskins
Theron B. Haskins, son of Henry and Kathryn Haskins, was born near North Platte, Nebr. April 8, 1911. He had lived near and in North Platte his entire life. Attending school there and graduating from the North Platte High School.
He was married to LaFern Wright on September 16, 1931. To this union was born two daughters, Norma Jean Ricket of Kearney and Rojean at home.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, two daughters, one granddaughter, Debra; his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Haskins of Farnam; one brother, Carol, two sisters, Mrs. Virgil Brannan and Mrs. Clyne Beisner, all of North Platte.
He was a member of the First Lutheran Church. He hired out to the Rail Road in 1939, and was a conductor on the run from North Platte to Sidney.
Funeral servies were held Friday in the First Lutheran Church at North Platte. Masonic rites were also held. Burial was in the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
