Mrs. Amanda Chester, 87, died this morning at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. J. H. Matzinger, 2703 North Twenty-first street. Mrs. Chester came to Superior last March from Ladysmith, where she had lived for a number of years and where she was very well known. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J. H. Matzinger of Superior; Mrs. Thomas Jordan of Brady, Neb., Mrs. John Hawkins of Stanton, Neb., and three sons, Marian of Alberta, and John and Paul Chester of Jefferson, S. D. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
