George W. Helms received a letter last Wednesday from W. F. Wilson, giving the particulars of the recent death of George A. Helms. The deceased had recently gone to [Stockville], the County Seat of Frontier County, Nebraska, and taken a homestead near that place. He was taken sick on the 8th of January, and sent for a doctor on the 11th. He did not seem very much sick, and was up every day until the day before his death. He was taken worse on the night of the 18th and died early on the morning of the 19th of January. His death was doubtless caused by congestion of the bowels.
