Walker—At his home west of town, April 28, Mr. C. M. Walker, in the 53d year of his age.

Charles Mackay Walker was born in Warren County, Ohio, July 2, 1852. In 1873 he married Eliza R. McElvain, removing to Illinois in 1879, to Kansas in 1884, and to Nebraska in 1890, which state has been their home since. He followed the vocation of farming until he met with an accident in 1890, in which he broke his leg, making him a cripple for life. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife and five children—three daughters and two sons—to whom our community extend their sympathy in their hour of bereavement.
