Funeral services for Maggie Hoy Johnson 74, of Englewood, Colo. were held Monday, at 1 p.m. from the Lockenour funeral home with the Rev. D. S. Barnemier officiating. Interment was in the Cambridge Cemetery.

Maggie Moats Hoy Johnson was born December 11, 1883 in Weir, Kansas and passed away October 31, 1857 in Englewood, Colorado.

During her life she lived in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Colorado. She was a member of the Methodist and Evangelical Churches for over 55 years. She was a Sunday School teacher and superintendent for many years. And was an ardent and sincere church worker, a devoted mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, R. A. Hoy, in 1931. She married Jose Johnson in 1950, in Weir, Kansas. He passed away in 1952.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by three sons, Paul Hoy, Denver; Dean Hoy, and Harold Hoy of Englewood, Colorado. Three daughters, Mable Soneson, of El Monte, Calif.; Ruth Stubblefield, Buhl, Idaho; Bertha Smallfoot, Los Angeles, Calif. Eight grand children and one great grand child.
