Ada Carol Puderbaugh

Mrs. Ada Carol Puderbaugh, 77, resident of Kitsap county for 22 years, died Wednesday at Tillamook, Ore., her home since 1940.

Born Sept. 11, 1879, she was married to Thaddeaus L. Puderbaugh Aug. 10, 1900. The family home was at Kitsap Lake until his retirement from Bremerton naval ammunition annex.

Of 14 children born to the Puderbaughs during their 56 years of marriage, 13 survive with their father. They include four sons, Carl, Delevan, Alvan and Harry, and two daughters, Mrs. Irene Dick and Mrs. June DeLong, all of Bremerton.

Also, three other daughters, Mrs. Leola Pratt, Twin Rocks, Ore.; Mrs. Violet Jones, Jacumba, Calif.; and Mrs. Gladys Campbell, Booneville (Clark county); four other sons, Jacob and Cecil, Garibalki, Ore.; Glenn, Westlake, Ore.; Morris, Netarts, Ore.

And one sister, Mrs. Ethel Faulkes, Los Angeles; one brother, Omar Kitchen, North Platte, Neb.; 30 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Lundberg funeral home in Tillamook. Burial will follow there.
