Charles Uhlig Dies Suddenly at Hospital

Had Attended Wedding Ceremony of Son Previous to His Illness

Hamilton, Jan. 3—Death claimed Charles Edward Uhlig, 58, at a Hamilton hospital Saturday night a short time after he had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage at his home three miles north of Hamilton. Mr. Uhlig had attended the marriage of his son, Sergeant Guy Uhlig, and Margery Kyle, earlier in the day.

Those to survive are the son, the widow here, a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Brown of Reed Point, and several brothers and sisters. These are Ernest of Sutherland, Neb.; Paul, Gothenburg, Neb.; Guy at Cozad, Neb.; Harmon and Mrs. Edna Volkham, Eustis, Neb.; and Mrs. Harry Stewart, Farnam, Neb.

Funeral arrangements are pending with probable burial at Reed Point, Mr. Uhlig’s former home, word from the Dowling funeral home states. Mr. Uhlig was born at Adair, Iowa, April 14, 1884. He came to the Bitter Root valley about four years ago from Reed Point.
