Art thou weary, tender heart?
Be glad of pain; in sorrow
Sweetest things will grow as
Flowers in the rain.
God watches; and thou
Wilt have the sun
When clouds their perfect
Work have done.

Yon have found a fairer morning,
Away from earth's trial and care.
You shall shine so brightly in heaven.
To guide us lest we might stray
While we watch and pray each evening
For the dawn of a brighter day.
