Hattie C. Einspahr, 85, of Elwood, died March 29, 1998, at Elwood Care Center.

She was born March 22, 1913, at Cadamus to Henry, Jr. and Anna Johnson Kottemeyer.

On Oct. 23, 1932, she married Harley Einspahr at Flagler, Colo.

Mrs. Einspahr was confirmed in the Zion Lutheran Church in Flagler April 13, 1930. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by a daughter, Elaine (Dean) Houlden of Elwood; three sons, Virgil (Janis) of Orleans, Norman (Cynthia) of Longmont, Colo. and Harley (Merileen) of Farnam, 17 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Elwood. Burial will be in the Elwood Cemetery.
