Ronald R. Crisman

Ronald R. Crisman, 64, of Gothenburg, departed this life Feb. 1, 2012, at Brian LGH Hospital in Lincoln, with his family by his side.

He was born on March 26, 1947, in Gothenburg, son of Gerald Ross and Waunetta (Donner) Crisman. He grew up in Gothenburg and attended Gothenburg High School.

Ronnie married Linda Kramer on Sept. 30, 1967, at Stapleton. To this union three children were born Tammy, Sherri and Rex. Ronnie drove truck as an owner/operator for 40 years.

Ronnie enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his dogs. Ronnie restored antique cars and tinkered at the shop in his spare time. His favorite past time was watching old westerns.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Linda, of Gothenburg; mother, Waunetta Crisman, of Gothenburg; two daughters, Tammy (Jeff) Bonifas, of Gothenburg, Sherri Crisman (Troy) Bice, of Lincoln; son, Rex (Stella), of Gothenburg; three grandsons, Casey (Tiffany Donner) Newbrey, Adam Newbrey, Cole Crisman; granddaughter, Leslie Potter; two great-granddaughters, Madison and Ellie; great-grandson, Caleb; brother, Kenneth (Kim) Crisman, of Gothenburg; two nephews, Jeff Crisman, of Denver, Colo., Josh Crisman, of North Platte; three brothers-in-law; six sisters-in-law; along with many nieces, nephews; and extended family and friends.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Ross Crisman; nephew, Jory Crisman; mother and father-in-law, Leonard and Joy Kramer; and two brothers-in-law.

Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4, at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, of Gothenburg, with the family present from 1-3 pm.

Services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 6, at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel with Pastor Larry Viter officiating. Burial will follow at the Farnam Cemetery at Farnam.
