Becky Darnall, age 67 formerly of Farnam, died March 24, 2009, at the Golden Living Center in Cozad.

She was born April 4, 1941 at Langston, Alabama to Verlene Bynum.

On October 17, 1958, she married Glen “Honker” Darnall; the couple made their home in Cozad. Later they moved to Eustis where they raised their children. In 1982, the couple moved to Farnam where they lived the rest of their married lives. Mr. Darnall preceded her in death in 2005.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Farnam Library Board and was an avid volunteer for the American Red Cross Blood Mobile.

She enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, crossword puzzles, gardening, and sewing. She especially enjoyed attending the Farnam A.M. Coffee Club.

In addition to her husband, Becky was preceded in death by her mother; grandparents; brother-in-law, Billie; nephew, Craig; and a special friend, Michael Beachel.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy(Richard) Allbright of Cozad; 2 sons, Fred Darnall and companion, Patricia Beachel of Gothenburg, Eddie Darnall of Cozad; 7 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a special friend, Malinda (Steve) Isenberg of Hickman, NE.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2009, at the United Methodist Church in Farnam with Pastor Tess Hufford officiating. Burial will be in the Farnam Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., with family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Thursday at the Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad.
