Services Held For
Harry Taylor

Funeral services were held Monday in the Farnam Methodist Church for Harry L. Taylor, who passed away Friday in Gothenburg. Rev. Harold O. Massie officiated.

Mrs. Harold Bick and Mrs. Elvin Piersol sang, accompanied by Mrs. Raymond Smith. Pallbearers were: Harold Larsen, Dale Larsen, David Taylor, Frank Preston, O. L. Hudson, and Alfred Wear.

Interment was in the Farnam Cemetery.

McVay-Olesen Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Obituary
Harry Lynn Taylor

Harry Lynn Taylor, son of Charles and Mary West Taylor, was born April 5, 1872, at Washington, Kansas; he was the youngest of six children. He departed this life at Gothenburg, Nebraska on July 20, 1962, at the age of 90 years, three months, and 15 days. He spent his entire life in the states of Kansas, Oklahoma, Illinois and Nebraska.

He was united in marriage to Nellie Troudt, in 1907. To this union were born six children, five of whom preceded him in death.

He leaves to mourn his passing: one son, Nelson, of Farnam; two granddaughters, and four grandsons; six great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was a man of Christian faith, holding his formal affiliation with the Methodist Church of Maywood.

He dedicated his life to his family and grandchildren. He will long be remembered as a kind friend and neighbor.
