Mrs. August (Myra) Phillips of Englewood, Calif. passed away early Monday morning at the age of 59 years.

Myra had undergone major surgery about a month ago, and has been known to have a heart condition, thou her death was a sudden shock to her family and friends.

She has lived the past several years in California, having spent most of her former life around the Farnam community.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the Farnam Methodist church.

McVay Funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.
