Peterson Baby Drowned in Water Tank Tuesday

Sorrow enveloped the community, Tuesday when death scored another victory in the sudden and untimely death of little Agnes Marie Peterson.

Her little body was found in the tank where she had evidently climbed to the rim and fell while at play Tuesday morning about 11 o'clock. It is thought that the spark of life had been extinguished before she was found, but in a vain effort to save her, a doctor was called and they started to town to meet him. But the cords of the precious little life had been fettered, and the Angel of Death had touched her precious little soul and carried it home to its maker.

She was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Peterson who reside 9 miles north west of town, was 2 years, 8 months and 9 days old.

Funeral services are being held from St. Joseph's Catholic church today at 12:00 o'clock.

The tenderest sympathy of the community, goes out to those who have lost, but only "the maker of every good and perfect gift" can soothe the aching sorrow, that seems so hard to bear.
