Grace M. Krepcik
Grace M. Krepcik, daughter of Frederick Madl and his wife, Antonia, nee Haas, was born at Bischopsreit Bavaria, Germany on Dec. 22, 1882. In the year 1892 she came with her parents to the U.S. and they established their home at Eudora, Kansas.
On May 25, 1908, the deceased was united in marriage to Emil F. Krepcik.
For the past eleven years the family has lived on a farm northeast of Farnam. Here the deceased became ill on Feb. 28. She was removed to a Gothenburg hospital and departed this life on the afternoon of March 6, having attained the age of 59 years, 2 months and 14 days.
She leaves to mourn her departure her husband; five sons, Joseph of Fairbury, Nebr.; Edward and Louis of Los Angeles, Calif., Emil and Calvin of Farnam, Nebr.; three daughters Anna Bloomenkamp of Hastings, Nebr., Grace Ringenberger of Buhl, Idaho, Louise of Hastings, Nebr.; two brothers Fred Madl of St. Paul, Kansas, Joseph Madl of Eudora, Kansas; one sister Mrs. Lena Wenger of Lawrence, Kansas.
Funeral services were conducted at the Shroud-Harris Funeral Home in Gothenburg Monday afternoon at two o’clock by Rev. E. G. Ihrig and interment was in the Farnam cemetery.
Pallbearers were four of her sons, Joseph, Edward, Louis and Emil, a son-in-law, Irvin Bloomenkamp, and Burr Murray.
