Nona M. Klein

Nona M. Klein, 93, of Bartley, formerly of Farnam, died Sept. 25, 2001, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital in Cambridge.

She was born Oct. 27, 1907, to Lewis S. and Lulu Alice Anderson Hayworth at Gothenburg. She was raised in the Farnam area.

On Nov. 5, 1924, she married Louis John Klein in Oberlin, Kan. He preceded her in death Jan. 10, 1975. In 1989, she moved to Fort Morgan, Colo., where she attended the First Christian Church. She then moved back to Farnam in 1997. For the past nine months, she had lived near Bartley with her son. She enjoyed quilting and her dog, Curley.

Mrs. Klein is survived by three sons, Russel (Dorthy) of Lebanon, Ore., Ross (Evonne) of Greely, Colo., and Raymond (Sue) of Bartley; a sister, Darlene (Clark) Klooz of Sargent; 13 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; and a stepbrother, Jim Hayworth.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth; her parents; two sisters, Margaret Hoy and Gertrude Bringelson; and three brothers, Melvin, Harold and Lester Hayworth.

Memorials are suggested to Cambridge Memorial Hospital.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Blase Memorial Chapel in Gothenburg. Burial will be in the Farnam Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Friday at Blase Memorial Chapel in Gothenburg.
