Ralph Earhart Dies

Ralph Earhart, who has been quite sick for several months, died at a Gothenburg hospital Wednesday afternoon of last week, to which place he had been taken for treatment and care the day before.

He was born June 19, 1889, at Springfield, Illinois, and died July 8, 1953, being 64 years and 19 days of age at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters.

Funeral services were held at the Farnam Methodist church on Sunday, July 19, with Rev. Delbert Sampson officiating. Burial was in Farnam cemetery under the direction of the McVay Funeral Home.

Singers were Mrs. Audrey Kotschwar and Mrs. Delores Nickerson, with Mrs. Mildred Edson at the piano.

Pallbearers were William Palmer, E. B. Lewis, O. L. Hudson, John Hathaway, Harold Ealy and Burr Parker.
