Emma E. Donner passed away Monday, Aug. 13, 1979 at the Southview Manor Nursing Home in Cozad. She was 87. The service was Wednesday morning at the McVay Memorial Chapel with Rev. L. Robert Holbrook officiating. Interment was in the Farnam cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter E. Donner and their son, Ray E. Donner.

Survivors include two sons, Cletus Donner of Curtis and Argil Donner of Farnam; two daughters, Mrs. Mae Wear of Brady, and Mrs. Gerald (Wauneta) Crisman of Gothenburg; one daughter-in-law, Clara Donner of Gothenburg; two brothers, Harry Slater of Elwood, and Dave Slater of Holdrege; 18 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
