Wilber I. Darnall

Wilber I. Darnall, 87, of Lexington died Tuesday, April 27, 1993, at Lexington.

He was born February 18, 1906, in Garland, Nebraska to Fred and Clara (Herrold) Darnall. Wilber grew up in the Cordova, NE, area and in 1920 he moved to the Eustis/Farnam area. He was in the well and mill repair business for over 40 years.

He was united in marriage to Emma (Klein) Darnall on November 24, 1926, in Seward. She preceded him in death in 1966. On July 27, 1968, Wilber was united in marriage to Irene (Radke) Danfield in Curtis. They moved to Lexington in 1976.

Survivors include his wife, Irene, Lexington; four sons, Dale and wife Janice, Eustis, Clark and wife Jean, Glasco, KS, Glen and wife Becky, Farnam and Bill and wife Norma, Farnam. One daughter, Bonnie Casper and Husband Nick, Lexington. One brother, Evern Darnall, Grand Island. One sister, Zelma Flowerday, Watsonville, CA. One step-son, Ron and wife Polly, Mission Viejo, CA. Five step-daughters, Mary Lou Miles, Hilo, HI, Marge Lordahl and husband Kieran, Omaha, Valjean Embrey and husband David, Mondamin, IA, and Romona Lillich, Atwood, KS, 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, 15 step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, one son, one brother and one granddaughter.

Services were held Saturday, May 1, at 10:00 a.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington with Father Ray Kosmicki officiating.

A memorial has been established.

Burial was in the Farnam City Cemetery.

Reynolds-Love Funeral home in Lexington was in charge of arrangements.
