Mrs. Matilda Brown passed away last evening at her home of South Walnut street after an illness of several days with pneumonia. She was 71 years of age. Besides her husband, Mr. R. J. Brown, she leaves to mourn her death four children, one daughter, Mrs. Grace Kendle, of Moline, Ill., Neil Brown of Penn., Ray Brown of Colorado and B. J. Brown of this city. The body will be taken to Farnam tomorrow where funeral services will be held at the Methodist church and interment made in the Farnam cemetery.
