Albert Allen, aged 15 years, died on Wednesday night at twelve o'clock after an illness of four days of pneumonia and brain fever. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Allen of Farnam and was boarding with Mr. Wood Potter and attending the Gothenburg High School, being a member of the eleventh grade. He was a bright boy, and his sudden death cast a gloom over the school. The eleventh grade contributed a beautiful floral wreath and will attend the funeral tomorrow at Farnam where the remains were taken today.

The eleventh grade class of Albert Allen attended the funeral of their classmate at Farnam last Friday. The boys of the class acting as pallbearers.

Madames Hattie Turner and J. C. Root of Omaha, sisters of Mrs. J. J. Allen, who where here to attend the funeral of Albert Allen at Farnam last Friday took the train here Monday morning for Omaha.

We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to friends who assisted during illness and death of our son and brother.
