Gothenburg Band Thursday

The two bands on the Jubilee program are led by T. H. Lynch of Gothenburg. Eustis and Gothenburg bands have both been high ranking in different musical contests held in the state the past few years.

Fred Gaibler and
His Trained Horses

If you are a lover of fine horses you will enjoy the free act that Fred Gaibler has prepared his horses to perform, each day of the Jubilee at 10:30 a. m. He has received many prizes all over this section of the state with his horses. See this act.

Open for Jubilee
Family Gatherings

The Will Peterson building will be opened for the public as a gathering place for families and picnic parties. There will be tables and seats furnished and water in the building. Most of the citizens who have lawns and shade are offering these accommodations also to picnic parties.

Meeting Place
for Old Timers

The building known as the John Frank shoe store has been secured as a meeting place for the old timers. The committee announces the building will be decorated, chairs and other provisions for them to rest and visit will be provided. A hostess will be in constant attendance.

Junior Automobile
To Be Given Away

The committee has ordered a Maytag Racer Junior Automobile to be given free to some boy or girl the last day of the Jubilee. This little auto is an extra fine multiple cylinder car constructed on the same principle as the large cars, balloon tires, pressed steel wheels, safety for a child is a prime factor, a beauty any child will be proud to own and drive.

Carnival Company

A big carnival company has arranged to be here for the two days of the Jubilee having a group of attractions, consisting of shows concessions and rides.

Picture Shows

The Farnam Theatre is having two outstanding shows for the Jubilee days. Boulder Dam will be shown Wednesday and Sutters Gold on Thursday. A continuous show will start at 1:30 each of the two days. The Farnam Theatre is air conditioned and is always cool.

Legion Dance

A legion dance will be held on a platform north of the Ford garage, where a special platform has been built for the Jubilee. The Les Graham orchestra will furnish the music.

Miniature Train

The Burlington miniature train will be here for the two days for the amusement of the children.

Baseball Games
Eustis vs. Oxford

A baseball game will be played between Eustis and Oxford both days of the Jubilee. These two teams have had a lot of rivalry and have good teams which will give baseball fans a good game both days. These teams are both members of the Independent league which have made good showings during the season.

Novelty Dancing by
Jean Thrasher

Miss Jean Thrasher of Kearney, a former Farnam girl will give you a Novelty Dancing act at 8:15 each evening. Jean is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. O. Thrasher, and has taken dancing lessons for about four years and is in great demand in giving performances of this kind in different towns of this part of the state.

Famous DeKohl Troupe

The DeKohl troupe, which appears on the Golden Jubilee program at Farnam, August 5-6, is an outstanding performance, which appears twice each day, as a free act, on a platform which will be built on the main street. This troupe promises no disappointments.
Act 1–Five people in a thrilling and spectacular rolling globe act. Something new and different from all other juggling acts. Featuring DeKohl on the stair of thrills. This act is of the highest standard and can be featured on any program. Most elaborate costumed troupe in America. Only act of its kind in America.
Act 2–DeKohl and DeKohl in a High Balancing Perch Act – Two people, lady and gentlemen, using a twenty-foot steel perch with daring acts of balancing and athletic feats.
Act 3–Miss Collette, Equilibrist supreme, in her own original style of feats of perfect balance. These acts have been featured at a large number of Fairs and Expositions, and are being featured at three state fairs this year, Missouri, Alabama, and Florida.
