Letter from Daughter
of Mr. And Mrs. Humbert

Pasco, Wash., July 16, 1936

Dear Editor:
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Humbert moved to Farnam 43 years ago. They farmed what was known as the Willis farm at first at first and then purchased a farm of their own where they resided until they moved to Cambridge, Nebr., the fall of 1905. Mr. Humbert died in August 1907, and his wife passed away in 1923, both are buried at
Cambridge. Mr. Humbert was a native of Wisconsin and a Civil War veteran. Only one child, Mrs. J. M. Nicholson survives and is living at present at Pasco, Wash. Mrs. Nicholson is the mother of 8 boys and 1 girls, all living in Washington, but one boy who is at Lincoln, Nebr. Your request went to Brooks Alberts where we lived until last October hence the delay. Would appreciate very much a copy of your Farnam Echo when you publish the anniversary number.
Very Sincerely
Mrs. J. M. Nicholson
