Band Escorts Boys to the Depot
The Farnam Band and a large crowd of Farnam citizens escorted the boys to the depot who left Tuesday evening for Omaha to enlist in the army. The band played several patriotic airs while waiting for the train to arrive and the boys were greeted with well–wishes and hearty hand shakes from all sides. Farnam and vicinity is mighty proud of her young men and this is one way we have of showing it.
