Black Blizzard Following Two Days of Fierce Heat

Dust clouds rolled up from the southeast Wednesday evening and obscured the sun shortly before sundown, following a day of intense heat, which caused local thermometers to go up to 107 degrees.

The clouds of dust could be seen for two hours or more before they reached here. The wind did not blow hard, but the air was filled with the dust. Tuesday the temperature was about 104.
