Mrs. Wm. Rosenfelt Dies

Naomi Amelia Rosenfelt was born in Champaign, Illinois, April 15, 1876, and passed away from this life in Lexington, where she was taking medical treatment April 14, 1946 at the age of 69 years, 11 months and 30 days.

Mrs. Rosenfelt’s family moved to the Farnam vicinity when she was nine years of age and she resided in the surrounding community until her death.

In 1892 she was united in Holy matrimony to Charles A. Rosenfelt. To this marriage four children were born, two, Henry and Boyd, preceded her in death, Clyde and Mrs. Elma Nickerson who reside in Farnam. Her husband passed away at Orafino December 9, 1921. About twenty years ago she was baptized and united with the Evangelical church at Orafino. On November 2, 1930 she was united in marriage to W. C. Rosenfelt.

It is said by her friends that she was most happy when doing something for others. She was patient during her illness, not wanting to be a burden to any one.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, who is in University hospital at Omaha; her daughter and son; a sister, Mrs. James Hazen; 7 grandchildren, of whom are Junior Nickerson now in Berlin, Willard Rosenfelt in Fort Bliss, Texas; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held from the Chester Hugo funeral home to the Farnam Nazarene church with Rev. E. Rodewald officiating on Tuesday afternoon and interment was beside her first husband in the Cambridge cemetery.
