OBITUARY

Rosa McDermott Burrows was born April 28, 1858 at Albany, Wisconsin where she lived until the spring of 1885 when she came out to Nebraska to keep house for her father and brothers. She homesteaded where she resided until death, with the exception of seven years that she lived in Farnam.

She was married April 12, 1891 to J. P. Burrows. To this union was born two daughters, Effie Andrews and Lillie McNickle both living near Farnam.

She was converted and joined the Baptist church of Albany, Wisconsin when 15 years of age, where she was a member until she transferred her membership to the Farnam Baptist church in 1891.

She leaves her husband, two daughters, six grand children, four brothers and two sisters to mourn her departure besides other relatives and a host of friends.

She passed to her reward December 28, 1929. The funeral services were conducted by her pastor W. W. Crabtree at the Banner church near Gothenburg.
