She was united in marriage to Wm. W. Frakes of Bertrand, Nebraska, September 27, 1900. For the past several years Mr. and Mrs. Frakes have made their home on their farm east of Farnam. Mrs. Frakes was of a very loveable disposition as a wife, she was also a kind and good neighbor and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. But especially is there a loneliness in the heart of the bereaved husband that God, and God alone can fill.

Beside the husband, she leaves to mourn her departure, an aged aunt in Sulpher Springs, Arkansas; two brothers, Clinton of Seward and Wm. of Schuyler, Nebraska; ten nephews and nieces; four brother-in-laws and three sister-in-laws, and a host of friends.

Those attending the funeral from a distance were: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Frakes of Bertrand, Nebraska; Frank Frakes and Mrs. J.D. Allen of Platner, Colorado.

A short funeral service was held at the farm home east of Farnam, Saturday, March 5th at 10:00 a.m. and in Curtis at the home of a brother-in-law, J.H. Sims, at 2:00 p.m. Interment was made in the Curtis Cemetery.
