W. Blair Heath, 80, Former owner and editor of the Overton Beacon died Thursday, June 6, in the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the United Methodist Church in Overton with Rev. Fred Davis officiating. Interment was in the Overton Cemetery.

He was born at Wallace to Clyde N. and Edith Howe Heath.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred, Overton; three daughters, Donella Tiede, Grant; Polly Ann Taylor, Overton; Barbara Mae Lierman, Kearney; one brother, Carl Heath, North Platte; three sisters, Mildred Brittenham, Maxwell; Bessie Hine, Dodge City, Kans.; and Nellie Larson, Grand Island; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
