Obituary Collection
JOHN FRANK PASSED AWAY
AT HIS HOME LAST THURSDAY

Mr. John Frank was born in Frannenzinmeron, Germany, March 31, 1867 and died at Farnam, Nebraska, February 22, 1934, being 66 years, 10 months, 22 days old.

He came from Germany in 1893, living for a time at Eustis, Nebraska. Later he moved to Washington state and took a homestead. He moved to Farnam, Nebraska in 1896 and started a business. When he died he was the oldest in years of any business in town.

He was united in marriage on November 23, [1899] to Mrs. Francis Closson. No children were born to this union.

He gave his heart to the Lord when he was seventeen and was confirmed in the Luthren church in Germany when he was fourteen. He lived a devoted Christian life till death, and was ready and willing to meet his Lord.

He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife, and adopted daughter, Mrs. Esther Cotterell, her husband and two children, all of Farnam. He also leaves one step-son, Guy Closson of Huntington, Oregon and two brothers, Chris Frank of Victoria, Canada and Gottlieb Frank of Bushnell, Nebraska.

An honest, conscientious businessman, friend and neighbor, kind husband and father has gone from us and he will be greatly missed.

Sleep on, beloved, sleep, and
    take thy rest;
Lay down thy head upon the
    Saviour's breast;
We love thee well but Jesus
    loves thee best.

Funeral services were held from the Baptist church Saturday afternoon conducted by Rev. E. C. Barton of Mason City. Interment was in the Farnam Cemetery.

Card of Thanks

We wish to offer our sincere thanks to the friends who have been so kind and thoughtful during our bereavement and to those who sent the beautiful floral tributes.

    Mrs. John Frank
