BILLY WILLIAMS DEAD

Billy Kenneth Williams, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Williams, living east of Farnam, was born June 8, 1921 and passed away about ten o’clock Friday morning March 24, 1922, after an illness of twenty-six days, at the hospital in Farnam, where he had been taken for treatment. The cause of his death was pneumonia following influenza.

He leaves to mourn his death a father and mother and three sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the home of the parents, and interment was made in the Farnam cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Williams have the sincere sympathy of the community in their bereavement.

As the sweet flower that scents the morn,
   But withers with the rising day—
Thus lovely seemed the Infants dawn;
   Thus swiftly fled its life away!

Ere sin could blight, or sorrow fade,
   Death timely came with friendly care:
The opening bud to heaven conveyed,
   And bade it bloom forever there.

Died without sin, and all its woes,
   Ne'er for a moment felt the rod—
On love's triumphant wing it rose,
   To rest forever with its God.

The Farnam Echo 20:1 Friday, March 31, 1922
