Obituary Collection
Infant Dies

Ronald Dean Whitney was born Sept. 30, 1938, the son of Everett and Anna Whitney. Since birth, Ronald had suffered intensely. He was baptized into the Lutheran faith at St. Joseph’s hospital in Omaha, where he had been taken for further medical care. But in spite of all the doctors could do, our Heavenly Father called his soul to rest on Oct. 22, 1938. He reached the tender age of 22 days. Besides his parents, he leaves to mourn his passing, his grandparents, an aged great grandmother and other relatives.

Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. Hummel, pator of St. John’s Lutheran church at Gothenburg. Burial was made at the Farnam cemetery.
